Romantic Brutalism - Milan Design Week 2025
During that one week each year, Milan turns into a creative beast—and we’re thrilled that in this exceptionally intense moment the Polish collectible scene also found its voice. Works by Jan Ankiersztajn, Monika Patuszynska, Filomena Smoła, and Aleksandra Zawistowska were presented to an international audience in the exhibition Romantic Brutalism, made possible through the patronage of the Visteria Foundation. Curated by Federica Sala and staged by Paradowski Studio, the show introduced global visitors to the key currents in Polish craft and collectible design, allowing them to trace the evolution of Polish aesthetics and motifs—from tradition to modernity.
