Following the successful debut at Milan Design Week 2025 with the exhibition “Romantic Brutalism”, dedicated to the legacy of Polish applied arts, the Visteria Foundation returns this year to the capital of Lombardy with a new presentation titled “Polish Modernism. A Struggle for Beauty”.

The exhibition, organised on the 16th floor of the legendary Milanese skyscraper Torre Velasca, will be a multi-layered narrative about the various manifestations of this movement. Alongside historical works, contemporary objects will be presented, including the Orphans series and Chapter Glass Episode 3 by Monika Patuszyńska.

The exhibition is curated by Federica Sala, an independent expert collaborating with leading international institutions and a member of the Programme Council of the Visteria Foundation, and Anna Maga, curator of the Design Collection at the National Museum in Warsaw. The exhibition architecture is designed by Zofia Wyganowska.
