Jan Ankiersztajn shapes aluminum on the English wheel, treating it as both skin and skeleton, constructing fluid, tensile forms inspired by the human body and the structural sophistication of racing car chassis, executed with the precision of a tailor of metal. Wiktoria and Filip Bielicki work between memory and technology, translating fragments of landscapes into formed metal surfaces where analogue traces meet robotic fabrication. Paweł Grunert devoted decades to reinventing the chair as monumental art furniture, balancing structural mystery with expressive force. Monika Patuszyńska deconstructs the traditional perception of porcelain, transforming this delicate and refined material into sculptural, vessel-like forms that carry stories of relationships. Filomena Smoła works with hot glass, shaping forms through gesture and breath, a physical ritual in which molten material records traces of touch, heat and emotion. Aleksandra Zawistowska draws on the intensity of the Baroque, merging glass and cast metal into immersive compositions charged with drama and control.

Together, this cross-section highlights key tendencies within contemporary Polish collectible design - from structural and architectural thinking, through objects embedded with memory and relational narratives, to a heightened expressiveness in which scale and theatrical intensity become central. Rooted in natural materials - metal, porcelain, glass and wicker - these practices push inherited disciplines beyond convention, treating the object as structure, story and statement.
